Was still very quiet when we reached there... Soon more and more families arrived for dinner..

Had Chilli Crabs, Herbal Chicken, Sambal Cuttlefish Kangkong, Beancurd... All in all, the quality of the food and service there were EXCELLENT!!! Highly recommended if you want to give your family or love ones a treat... Thank God also for easy parking.

Really enjoyed the dinner and most of all, the time spent with my granny and aunties... = )

Love,
Bernard Ng

Flight Details...

FLIGHT STOP/EQP/
CITY/TERMINAL/ CLASS FLYING TIME/
DAY DATE STOPOVER CITY TIME STATUS SERVICES
--- ---- -------------- ---- ------ ------------
MON 20MAR DEP SINGAPORE 1655 SQ 836 NON-STOP
TERMINAL 2 ECONOMY BOEING 777-300
ARR SHANGHAI PU DONG 2200 CONFIRMED 05HR 05MIN

Corrinne May - Fly Away

"When will you be home?" she asks
as we watch the planes take off
We both know we have no clear answer to where my dreams may lead
She's watched me as i crawled and stumbled
As a child, she was my world
And now to let me go, I know she bleeds
and yet she says to me

You can fly so high
Keep your gaze upon the sky
I'll be prayin every step along the way
Even though it breaks my heart to know we'll be so far apart
I love you too much to make you stay
Baby fly away

Autumn leaves fell into spring time and
SIlver-painted hair
Daddy called one evening saying
"We need you. Many of
these individuals are recognized internationally for their accomplishments
in business, but even more, they are famous for having acquired huge
storehouses of wealth and material possessions. More important than what
they have achieved, it seems, is what they have. Some of these people are
very generous and philanthropic, but others are not. Their attitude seems to
be, “I earned it and I deserve to keep and use every bit of it for whatever
I want.”

Gold, not God, can become the passionate pursuit of many men and women. The
consuming object of their lives becomes food and clothing, cars and home,
travel and entertainment. There is nothing inherently wrong with comfortable
things, but too often they turn into the driving motivation for business
prosperity, financial security and a cozy “nest-egg” for the retirement
years.

It’s good advice not to make your aim in life too low by concentrating
overly much on the materialistic – devoting your time and energy to
accumulate things that either do not last or eventually lose their
attraction. Remember the words of King Solomon, reputed to be the wisest and
wealthiest man the world has ever seen. He observed:
“Riches make themselves wings, they fly away as an eagle toward
heaven” (Proverbs 23:4,5).

Ironically, this brilliant King of Israel failed to heed his own counsel,
getting caught in the trap of materialism himself. “The weight of the gold
that Solomon received yearly was 666 talents, not including the revenues
brought in by merchants and traders…. King Solomon was greater in riches and
wisdom than all the other kings of the earth” (2 Chronicles 9:13,22).
Putting those ancient financial terms into 21st century perspective, it
would amount to nearly half a billion dollars a year in today’s market. This
famous king allowed temporal gain to be his primary goal in life. He filled
his hands, heart and time with accumulating things until he became a slave
to his possessions. In the book of Ecclesiastes, he recounts his futile
quest to find happiness in tangible things.

Paper currency and bank balances can be deceiving. Just when you think you
have it made, with all the money you need, it seems to take wings and fly
away. The tighter you hold onto your possessions, the more slippery they
become. Like a peeled grape held between two fingers, you squeeze it, and it
zips right out of your hand.

Consider the money you have in your wallet today. Yesterday it was in the
hands of another person, and tomorrow those same dollars will belong to
someone else. In a few weeks, who knows where those funds will have flown.
No matter how hard you try, you can’t retain your material possessions
forever. You can try to clip their wings, but amazingly, you still cannot
hinder their flight.

When hoarded, money gets eaten up by moths and stolen by burglars. However,
there are some simple principles you can use to ensure that your money does
not take wings as an eagle. Here are six simple rules that in English follow
the acronym, “CHANGE”:

1. Choose your investments with the care of prayer.
2. Harness your heart with discipline and direction.
3. Analyze your securities with diligence and stewardship.
4. Nurture your mind and heart with an eternal perspective.
5. Guard your desires and appetites for “more and more.”
6. Enslave your will to be content with what you have.

“A man’s life does not consist in the abundance of things he possesses”
(Luke 12:15).

Building Your House...

Building Your House

An elderly carpenter was ready to retire. He told his employer-contractor of his plans to leave the house-building business to live a more leisurely life with his wife and enjoy his extended family. He would miss the paycheck each week, but he wanted to retire. They could get by.

The contractor was sorry to see his good worker go & asked if he could build just one more house as a personal favor. The carpenter said yes, but over time it was easy to see that his heart was not in his work. He resorted to shoddy workmanship and used inferior materials. It was an unfortunate way to end a dedicated career.

When the carpenter finished his work, his employer came to inspect the house. Then he handed the front-door key to the carpenter and said, "This is your house... my gift to you."

The carpenter was shocked!

What a shame! If he had only known he was building his own house, he would have done it all so differently.

So it is with us. We build our lives, a day at a time, often putting less than our best into the building. Then, with a shock, we realize we have to live in the house we have built. If we could do it over, we would do it much differently.

But, you cannot go back. You are the carpenter, and every day you hammer a nail, place a board, or erect a wall. Someone once said, "Life is a do-it-yourself project." Your attitude, and the choices you make today, help build the "house" you will live in tomorrow. Therefore, Build wisely!

Love,
Bernard Ng

An Interesting Story...

One day a teacher asked her students to list the names of the other
students in the room on two sheets of paper, leaving a space between
each name.

Then she told them to think of the nicest thing they could say about
each of their classmates and write it down

It took the remainder of the class period to finish their assignment,
and as the students left the room, each one handed in the papers.

That Saturday, the teacher wrote down the name of each student on a
separate sheet of paper, and listed what everyone else had said about
that individual.

On Monday she gave each student his or her list. Before long, the
entire class was smiling. "Really?" she heard whispered. "I
never knew that I meant anything to anyone!" and, "I didn't know others liked
me so much," were most of the comments.

No one ever mentioned those papers in class again. She never knew if
they discussed them after class or with their parents, but it didn't
matter. The exercise had accomplished its purpose. The students were
happy with themselves and one another. That group of students moved on.

Several years later, one of the students was killed in Viet Nam and his
teacher attended the funeral of that special student. She had never
seen a serviceman in a military coffin before. He looked so handsome,
so mature.

The church was packed with his friends. One by one those who loved him
took a last walk by the coffin. The teacher was the last one to bless
the coffin.

As she stood there, one of the soldiers who acted as pallbearer came up
to her. "Were you Mark's math teacher?" he asked. She nodded:
"yes."
Then he said: "Mark talked about you a lot."

After the funeral, most of Mark's former classmates went together to a
luncheon. Mark's mother and father were there, obviously waiting to
speak with his teacher.

"We want to show you something," his father said, taking a wallet
out of his pocket. "They found this on Mark when he was killed. We thought you
might recognize it."

Opening the billfold, he carefully removed two worn pieces of notebook
paper that had obviously been taped, folded and refolded many times.
The teacher knew without looking that the papers were the ones on which she had
listed all the good things each of Mark's classmates had said about him.

"Thank you so much for doing that," Mark's mother said. "As
you can see, Mark treasured it."

All of Mark's former classmates started to gather around. Charlie
smiled rather sheepishly and said, "I still have my list. It's in the
top drawer of my desk at home."

Chuck's wife said, "Chuck asked me to put his in our wedding
album."

"I have mine too," Marilyn said. "It's in my diary."

Then Vicki, another classmate, reached into her pocketbook, took out
her wallet and showed her worn and frazzled list to the group. "I
carry this with me at all times," Vicki said and without batting an eyelash,
she continued: "I think we all saved our lists."

That's when the teacher finally sat down and cried. She cried for Mark
and for all his friends who would never see him again.

The density of people in society is so thick that we forget that life
will end one day. And we don't know when that one day will be.

So please, tell the people you love and care for, that they are special
and important. Tell them, before it is too late.

Key Pillars of Focus!!!

PURPOSE

PASSION

POSITIONING

SACRIFICE

coming soon...

Primary Love Language...

Almost finish reading the Gary Chapman book... = )

Did a love language test the next before.. Let me share some of them with you...

1) Joseph was given the interpretations to the King's dreams... He was made in charged of preparing the nation for the famine that was to come... Imagine, you are in Joseph's position... Do you think you have an easy task getting the people to follow your instructions... I am sure Joseph also met several challenges along the way... I am sure there are some who even doubted whether Joseph's interpretation was correct or really from God ...

Point is: Joseph did not become great or respected overnight when he was made 2nd in command after Pharoh... He was merely given the authority... However, it took him 7 years of planning and carrying his plans to prepare the country for the difficult times... It was only when the famine happened, then his people realized that Joseph indeed had the true interpretations to the dreams.... and it was then that he became well respected... and God was glorified in the process... Do you want your life to shine for God? Then the question you need to ask yourself is are you willing to go through the trials that Joseph had to go through before he was put in a position to be able to interpret Pharoh's dreams.... Joseph was 18yrs old when he was given the 2 dreams.... his life seemingly took a turn when his brothers tried to kill him and sold him away as a slave.. What the brothers meant for evil.. the Lord used it was good... Joseph was 30yrs old when his dreams became fulfilled... Are you prepared to go through trials in your life for God to use you greatly? Will you still choose to trust God in difficult situations?

2) Have you ever since an aeroplane take off without having a runway? I believe no aeroplane can achieve such task.... Helicopters yes... but not an aeroplane... Even the fighter planes on the Navy Battleship need a runway...

Point is: God was clearly telling me whatever experience and lessons I learn over the last 2-3yrs are preparing me for a take off... I am be still on a ground right now... but I am surely on a runway... Only God, the main and only pilot in my life, knows the length of the runway... But I surely know that He is in full control of my life... and God knows when I am ready to take off...

To me, knowing God's will for your life and having personal goals in your life aligned to God's will is like having a aeroplane that is on the runway.... Don't be too hurry to take off... because God knows the best time and plan for you to take off... More importantly, you must know what is God's will for your life and you need to align your personal goals in your life to God's will if you want to ever be an aeroplane on the runway to doing BIG things for the Lord!

Hope the 2 revelations God showed me recently will bless you greatly too.... = )

Have a good week ahead!

Love,
Bernard Ng (",)
Passion To Serve!!!

Sentosa...& River Hongbao

Went Sentosa yesterday with my family... My aunt and sister wanted to take photographs of the flowers exhibition... = )

As there are 7 of us, driving into Sentosa is definitely not a good arrangement ... It was very crowded when we reach World Trade Centre... Hence, we decided to walk across the bridge linking Sentosa to the main island instead of talking the shuttle bus... =)

Reached the floral exhibition... The exhibition is at the fountain garden (near the main Visitor Centre).. We started admiring the various flowers and arrangement in the garden... The flowers are plentiful and very colourful... However, as the sky was overcast yesterday... it was not good for photo-taking... Hmm... not enough lighting... However, some pictures did turn out well with the correct digital setting (will be posting up some pictures soon... )

Spent 3-4hrs at the exhibition...

Following that, my family went dinner at Pastamania (WTC) ... Really interesting watching my grandma eats pizza and pasta.... Given a choice... I don't think she will ever attempt such food... =)

Was on our drive home... when we decided impromtu to vist River Hongbao ... It's been quite sometime since I updated this blog, and as I was doing goal planning for 2006, it suddenly dawned upon me the reason why I wanted to get started on writing bolgs all along, was so that I could do my part in spreading the message of hope, love and encouragement to everyone and to let my life be a living testimony of the goodness of God!

Was reading this solid book called "The Google Story" (order online from Steven Kon: 94249015 @ $28.50 only, inc delivery), and was so inspired by the success of a simple idea, made great because of a undying passion to pursue the purpose of making internet search better for the masses. By the way, the founders Larry Page and Brin Seirge are only 31+ years old this year, and they are already in the league of multi-billonaires. And the fact that these two Standford grads began with an empty pocket further encouraged all of us that the "rags to riches" story is not just a fictional one, but as real as the USD$300 per piece google stock now being traded at NASDAQ

The point is, if you have an idea that is driving you...an idea that is much bigger than yourself...an idea that is set to benefit society as a whole and make the world a better place for mankind...GET READY to make it into a reality!

Everyone remembers the Wright brothers for turning a seemingly impossible notion of human flight into reality. The Wright brothers choose to believe the right things!

I like the phrase "A healthy disregard for the impossible". Awesome! The bible says: "With God, all things are possible", and if I believe in my God, it really means that we should all adopt a keen disregard to ALL naysayers who profess "it can't be done", when my God says it can!

Ps: Be Inspired!!!

Love,
Bernard Ng
Passion To Serve!!!

Renuion Dinner...

Happy Chinese New Year!

Just came back from dinner at my grandma's house. = )

Had steamboat + yummy chilli prawns + Nonya Chicken for dinner.... This year, for a change, my family decide to have steamboat for renuion dinner... the last time we had steamboat was when my grandma and aunties were still staying in Yishun... (almost more than 6 years ago)...

Glad to hear a few testimonies from my eldest aunt... Really amazing how God is doing a work in my uncle's heart... softening his heart day by day to know Him... When my aunty-in-law accepted Christ a few years ago, he was very against Christianty and blamed our family for sharing Christ to his wife... and he declared that he will never step into our church... Recently, my uncle got a business project from VFC to maintain all our church buildings water system... Now, he has every reason to step into our church... Praise God for using this opportunity to soften his heart... Amen!

Lord, thank you for doing the work in my uncle's heart. I pray that You will continue to soften his heart so that he will come to acknowledge You and experience Your love for him. Lord, I know that it is Your desire and Your will to bring him back to the family once again... Normally, on Friday, I would go to my care group. However, my caregroup this week was cancelled as most of the men cannot make it this evening. Hence, I went to the Edge Service...

This evening message was very very special as it was shared by Sis Lydia (one of the China Pastoral Leadership Program students). She is only 19 this year and she has been serving the Lord full time since 15years old.... btw, her dad is still a pre-believer... talking about persecution... I think she feels it as well... Glory to God.. isn't it amazing for someone of her age to stand strong for God and to serve Him full time despite family objections...

She shared an inspiring message about dreaming dreams in your youth for God's purpose in our lives...She challenged us to have a dream that is centered around God and fulfilling God's purpose in our lives because we are the light and we need to bring the light to where darkness is so that we can shine brightly for God.. We are to be ambassadors for God in this world and not become part of this world or fall in love with this world....

She sees life as having 4 phases... In the first phase, this is the time when you are still a child when you are very much cared and loved by your family members... In the 2nd phase, this is the time when you start having dreams about what life should be and how you want your life to be...in your mind will be thhoughts about wanting to own a sport car, big house etc... In the 3rd phase, you began to realize the reality of life... you may begin to start working hard to pursue after the material things of this world... In the 4th phase, this is the time when you have retired... and began to reflect back about what have you done over the past years...

Her point is basically, you don't want to blindly live your life chasing after things of this world... not fulfilling your purpose God has called you for... However, if you begin to dream dreams in your youth and you include God in your dreams by seeking His purpose for your life... Then, you will feel a greater sense of satisfaction and achievement...

She went on to elaborate how can we offer our life as a sacrifice to God... Just like the little boy who gave Jesus his 5 loaves and 2 fishes... The little boy actually surrendered his rights over these 5 loaves and 2 fishes to Jesus... He could have decided to share with his friends or keep some for himself... Instead, the little boy gave all that he had... and with the very little that he had.... He gave Jesus to feed the 5 thousands +.... Point is, we need to surrender our rights to what we want to do in life to God... and with the little that we may have right now... God can multiply...

So, what is God's purpose for your life? Are you willing to surrender your life to Him?

Do take this holiday opportunity to seriously think about it... 2006 will be a better year for all of us as we move a step forward in seeing God's purposes for our lives fulfilled.

Love,
Bernard Ng
Passion To Serve!!!

Learning PHP...

Learning PHP programming is actually quite fun...

I want to master PHP by June 2006...

Love (",)
Bernard Ng

Interesting Article... = )

A young man was getting ready to graduate college. For many months he had admired a beautiful sports car in a dealer's showroom, and knowing his father could well afford it, he told him that was all he wanted.

As Graduation Day approached, the young man awaited signs that his father had purchased the car. Finally, on the morning of his graduation his father called him into his private study. His father told him how proud he was to have such a fine
son, and told him how much he loved him. He handed his son a beautiful wrapped gift box.

Curious, but somewhat disappointed the young man opened the box and found a lovely, leather-bound Bible. Angrily, he raised his voice at his father and said, "With all your money you give me a Bible?" and stormed out of the house, leaving the holy
book.

Many years passed and the young man was very successful in business. He had a beautiful home and wonderful family, but realized his father was very old, and thought perhaps he should go to him. He had not seen him since that graduation day. Before he could make arrangements, he received a telegram telling him his father had
passed away, and willed all of his possessions to his son. He needed to come home immediately and take care of things.

When he arrived at his father's house, sudden sadness and regret filled his heart.

He began to search his father's important papers and saw the still new Bible, just as he had left it years ago. With tears, he opened the Bible and began to turn the pages. As he read those words, a car key dropped from an envelope taped behind the Bible. It had a tag with the dealer's name, the same dealer who had the sports car he had desired. On the tag was the date of his graduation, and the words...PAID IN FULL.

How many times do we miss God's blessings because they are not packaged as we expected?

Cheers
Bernard Ng

Conversation with Pastor Daniel...

Two Saturdays ago, when I was in Church Corporate Office, I told Pastor Daniel about my decision to go China soon... He was surprised and he needed to talk to me about something.

This evening, after sending off the East Timor Gidionite Team at Changi Airport, I had a good talk with Pastor Daniel over dinner.

It is really amazing what God is trying to speak to me... Prior to speaking with Pastor Daniel this evening... I had a long talk with Samuel about what is his purpose in life and what drives and excites him in life... I also shared with him my purpose in life...

It has been my calling since the age of 14 to be part of God's work in China... I do not know how and I do not know when... It seems to me in the natural that the time has come... by entering China through our most favorite vehicle, businesses....

Then again, this evening, Pastor Daniel spoke to me because he felt the quickening of his spirit to speak to me about preparing myself for mission... I was quite surprised initially... This is because it has never occured to me that God may want me to enter China doing mission as the primary purpose and task... I have always seen myself as a tent maker... sharing the good news while carrying out businesses in China... But then again, Pastor Daniel also mentioned that not everyone is called to full time... some may be more effective in the marketplace than in the church setting...

Pastor Daniel shared about how tent making came about during Paul's time... when Paul wanted to lead by example to support his own ministries as well as to enter areas where the good news cannot enter... So, for Paul, tent making was an indirect approach to the primary purpose which was to share the good news,.... and it may be considered the "soft approach"... Hence, Pastor Daniel wanted me to pray and seek God's will, direction and purpose in my life in the area pertaining to mission...

In my rationale mind, I love building businesses and I recognize my strengths in working on businesses and building teams... However, Pastor Daniel shared about meekness... Jesus was powerful.. yet he chose to be meek... Through Gidionite program, my character will be built... I have no doubt about it... However, the thought of giving one year of my life solely to mission has not crossed my mind...

So, what is the isacc in my life? Is it my dream? Are they my goals? Do I trust God enought to offer to God the isacc in my life like Abraham? On hindsight, God provided the lamb in place of Isacc for the sacrifice... However, ask yourself honestly, without the benefit of hindsight, would you have done what Abraham did to offer Isacc for sacrifice?

Lord, show me Your way... Everythings seems right... With so many doors open, I want to clearly hear Your voice and know Your will in my life... In Jesus Mighty Name, Amen!

Love,
Bernard Ng

Wonderful Sunday

Today was Sacrificial Faith Offering... Dinosaurs and the Bible

Dinosaurs and the Bible

An aura of mystery surrounds the dinosaurs. Where did they come from? Did they evolve? Did they really live millions of years ago? What happened to them? Are there any living today? Has any human being ever seen a live dinosaur?

Children and adults alike are absolutely fascinated by these mysterious monsters. Numerous books and movies have been produced to satisfy a seemingly insatiable hunger for information on these puzzling creatures. The truth of the matter, however, is that there are no real mysteries at all, once you have key information that is not generally known and is withheld from the public.

Come with me as we take a walk through history and uncover some amazing facts that will answer many of your questions about these ‘terrible lizards.’

Did Dinosaurs Really Exist?
Dinosaurs certainly did roam the Earth in the ancient past! Fossils of dinosaurs have been found all over the world, and their bones are displayed in museums for all to see. Scientists have been able to reconstruct many of their skeletons, so we know much about how they may have looked.

When Were Dinosaurs Found?
The story of their discovery began back in the 1820s, when Gideon Mantell, an English doctor, found some unusual teeth and bones in a quarry. Dr Mantell realized there was something very different about these animal remains, and believed that he had found an entirely new group of reptiles. By 1841, about nine types of these different reptiles had been uncovered, including two called Megalosaurus and Iguanodon.

At this time, a famous British scientist (and creationist), Dr Richard Owen, coined the name ‘Dinosauria,’ meaning ‘terrible lizard,’ for this is what the huge bones made him think of.

What Makes Dinosaurs Different?
Other than the huge size of some dinosaurs, the major feature that really distinguishes dinosaurs from other reptiles (such as crocodiles) is the position of their limbs. Dinosaurs had posture that was fully erect, similar to that in mammals. Most other reptiles have limbs in a sprawling position. For instance, compare the way a crocodile ‘walks’ with that of, say, a cow. Dinosaurs would have moved like a cow, with the limbs supporting the body from beneath. Crocodiles ‘waddle,’ as their limbs project sideways from their body.

How Big Were Dinosaurs?
Some were as small as chickens, and others were even smaller. Of course, some dinosaurs were very large, weighing in at an estimated 80 tons and standing 40 feet high! The average size of a dinosaur, however, was probably about that of a small horse.

When Did Dinosaurs Live?
The story we have all heard from movies, television, newspapers, and most magazines and textbooks is that dinosaurs lived millions of year ago. According to evolutionists, the dinosaurs ‘ruled the Earth’ for 140 million years, dying out about 65 million years ago. However, scientists do not dig up anything labeled with those ages. They only uncover dead dinosaurs (i.e., their bones), and their bones do not have labels attached telling how old they are. The idea of millions of years of evolution is just the evolutionists’ story about the past. No scientist was there to see the dinosaurs live through this supposed dinosaur age. In fact, there is no proof whatsoever that the world and its fossil layers are millions of years old. No scientist observed dinosaurs die. Scientists only find the bones in the here and now, and because many of them are evolutionists, they try to fit the story of the dinosaurs into their view.

Other scientists, called creation scientists, have a different idea about when dinosaurs lived. They believe they can solve any of the supposed dinosaur mysteries and show how the evidence fits wonderfully with their ideas about the past, beliefs that come from the Bible.

The Bible, God’s very special book (or collection of books, really), claims that each writer was supernaturally inspired to write exactly what the Creator of all things wanted him to write down for us so that we can know where we (and dinosaurs) came from, why we are here, and what our future will be. The first book in the Bible—Genesis—teaches us many things about how the universe and life came into existence. Genesis tells us that God created everything—the Earth, stars, sun, moon, plants, animals, and the first two people.

Although the Bible does not tell us exactly how long ago it was that God made the world and its creatures, we can make a good estimate of the date of creation by reading through the Bible and noting some interesting passages:

God made everything in six days. He did this, by the way, to set a pattern for mankind, which has become our seven day week (as described in Exodus 20:11). God worked for six days and rested for one, as a model for us. Furthermore, Bible scholars will tell you that the Hebrew word for day used in Genesis 1, can only mean an ordinary day in this context.

We are told God created the first man and woman—Adam and Eve—on Day Six. Many facts about when their children and their children’s children were born are given in Genesis. These genealogies are recorded throughout the Old Testament, up until the time of Christ. They certainly were not chronologies lasting millions of years.

As you add up all of the dates, and accepting that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to Earth almost 2000 years ago, we come to the conclusion that the creation of the Earth and animals (including the dinosaurs) occurred only thousands of years ago (perhaps only 6000!), not millions of years. Thus, if the Bible is right (and it is!), dinosaurs must have lived within the past thousands of years.

Where Did Dinosaurs Come From?
Evolutionists claim that dinosaurs evolved over millions of years. They imagine that one kind of animal slowly changed over long periods of time to become a different kind of animal. For instance, they believe that amphibians changed into reptiles (including dinosaurs) by this gradual process. This would mean, of course, that there would have been millions of creatures during that time that would be ‘in between,’ as amphibians evolved into reptiles. Evidence of these ‘transitional forms,’ as they are called, should be abundant. However, many fossil experts admit that not one unquestionable transitional form between any group of creatures and another has been found anywhere. If dinosaurs evolved from amphibians, there should be, for example, fossil evidence of animals that are part dinosaur and part something else. However, there is no proof of this anywhere. In fact, if you go into any museum you will see fossils of dinosaurs that are 100% dinosaur, not something in between. There are no 25%, 50%, 75%, or even 99% dinosaurs—they are all 100% dinosaur!

The Bible tells us that God created all of the land animals on the sixth day of creation. As dinosaurs were land animals, they must have been made on this day, alongside Adam and Eve, who were also created on Day Six (Genesis 1:24-31). If God designed and created dinosaurs, they would have been fully functional, designed to do what they were created for, and would have been 100% dinosaur. This fits exactly with the evidence from the fossil record.

Evolutionists declare that no man ever lived alongside dinosaurs. The Bible, however, makes it plain that dinosaurs and people must have lived together. Actually, as we will soon see, there is a lot of evidence for this.

What Did Dinosaurs Eat?
The Bible teaches (in Genesis 1:29-30) that the original animals (and the first humans) were commanded to be vegetarian. There were no meat eaters in the original creation. Furthermore, there was no death. It was an unblemished world, with Adam and Eve and animals (including dinosaurs) living in perfect harmony, eating only plants.

Sadly, it did not stay this way for very long. Adam rebelled against his Creator, bringing sin into the world (Genesis 3:1-7; Romans 5:12). Because of this rebellion, Adam, and thus all of his descendants (you and me), gave up the right to live with a Holy (sinless) and just God. God therefore judged sin with death.

The Bible plainly teaches from Genesis to Revelation that there was no death of animals or humans before Adam sinned. (Consider just a few of the many passages, such as: Romans 5:12; Genesis 2:17; Genesis 1:29-30; Romans 8:20-22; Acts 3:21; Hebrews 9:22; I Corinthians 15; Revelation 21:1-4; Revelation 22:3.) This means there could not have been any animal fossils (and no dinosaur bones) before sin.

After Adam’s sin, animals and people started to die. It was now a different world, one of death and strife. A world that was once beautiful now suffered under the curse placed upon it by the Creator (Genesis 3:14-19). But a promise was given (Genesis 3:15) that God would provide a way for the penalty of sin to be paid so there would be a way for man to come back to God.

Why Do We Find Dinosaur Fossils?
In Genesis 6, we read that all flesh (man and animals) had ‘corrupted his way upon the Earth’ (Genesis 6:12). Perhaps people and animals were killing each other; maybe dinosaurs had started killing other animals and humans. In any case, the Bible describes the world as ‘wicked.’

Because of this wickedness, God warned a godly man named Noah that He was going to destroy the world with a Flood (Genesis 6:13). God therefore commanded him to build a great ship (the Ark) so that all the kinds of land animals (which must have included dinosaurs) and Noah’s family could survive on board while the Flood destroyed the entire Earth (Genesis 6:14-20).

Some people think that dinosaurs were too big, or there were too many of them, to go on this Ark. However, there were not very many different kinds of dinosaurs. There are certainly hundreds of dinosaur names, but many of these were given to just a bit of bone or skeletons of the same dinosaur found in other countries. It is also reasonable to assume that different sizes, varieties, and sexes of the same kind of dinosaur have ended up with different names. For example, look at the many different varieties and sizes of dogs, but they are all the same kind-the dog kind! In reality, there may have been fewer than 50 kinds of dinosaurs.

God sent two of every (seven of some) land animal into the Ark (Genesis 7:2-3; 7:8-9)—there were no exceptions. Therefore, dinosaurs must have been on the Ark. Even though there was ample room in the huge ship for large animals, perhaps God sent young adults into the Ark that still had plenty of room for them to grow.

Well, what happened to all the land animals that did not go on the Ark? Very simply, they drowned. Many would have been covered with tons of mud as the rampaging water covered the land (Genesis 7:11-12,19). Because of this quick burial, many of the animals would have been preserved as fossils. If this happened, you would expect to find evidence of billions of dead things buried in rock layers (formed from this mud) all over the Earth. This is exactly what you do find.

By the way, the Flood of Noah’s day probably occurred just over 4,500 years ago. Creationists believe that this event formed many of the fossil layers around the Earth. (Additional fossil layers were formed by other floods as the Earth settled down after the great Flood.) Thus, the dinosaur fossils which were formed as a result of this Flood were probably formed about 4,500 years ago, not millions of years ago.

Have Dinosaurs Lived in Recent Times?
If the different kinds of dinosaurs survived the Flood, then they must have come off the Ark and lived in the post-Flood world.

In the Bible, in Job 40:15-24, God describes to Job (who lived after the Flood) a great beast with which Job was familiar. This great animal, called ‘behemoth,’ is described as ‘the chief of the ways of God,’ perhaps the biggest land animal God had created. Impressively, he moved his tail like a cedar tree! Although some Bible commentaries say this may have been an elephant or hippopotamus, the description actually fits that of a dinosaur like Brachiosaurus. Elephants and hippos certainly do not have tails like cedar trees!

Actually, very few animals are singled out in the Bible for such a detailed description. Contrary to what many may think, what we know now as dinosaurs get more mention in the Scriptures than most animals! So dinosaurs—all the different kinds—must have lived alongside of people after the Flood.

Are Dinosaurs Mentioned in Ancient Literature?
Interestingly, the word ‘dragon’ is used a number of times in the Old Testament. In most instances, the word dinosaur could substitute for dragon and it would fit very nicely. Creation scientists believe that dinosaurs were called dragons before the word dinosaur was invented in the 1800s. We would not expect to find the word dinosaur in Bibles like the Authorized Version (1611), as it was translated well before the word dinosaur was ever used.

Also, there are many very old history books in various libraries around the world that have detailed records of dragons and their encounters with people. Surprisingly (or not so surprisingly for creationists), many of these descriptions of dragons fit with how modern scientists would describe dinosaurs, even Tyrannosaurus. Unfortunately, this evidence is not considered valid by evolutionists. Why? Only because their belief is that man and dinosaurs did not live at the same time!

However, the more we research the historical literature, the more we realize there is overwhelming evidence that dragons were real beasts, much like our modern reconstructions of dinosaurs, and that their existence has been recorded by many different people, even just hundreds of years ago.

What Happened to Dinosaurs?
Evolutionists use their imagination in a big way in answering this question. Because of their belief that dinosaurs ‘ruled’ the world for millions of years, and then disappeared millions of years before man allegedly evolved, they have had to come up with all sorts of guesses to explain this ‘mysterious’ disappearance.

When reading evolutionist literature, you will be astonished at the range of ideas concerning their supposed extinction. The following is just a small list of theories:

Dinosaurs starved to death; they died from overeating; they were poisoned; they became blind from cataracts and could not reproduce; mammals ate their eggs. Other causes include-volcanic dust, poisonous gases, comets, sunspots, meteorites, mass suicide, constipation, parasites, shrinking brain (and greater stupidity), slipped discs, changes in the composition of air, etc.

It is obvious that evolutionists don’t know what happened and are grasping at straws. In a recent evolutionary book on dinosaurs, ‘A New Look At the Dinosaurs,’ the author made the statement:

‘Now comes the important question. What caused all these extinctions at one particular point in time, approximately 65 million years ago? Dozens of reasons have been suggested, some serious and sensible, others quite crazy, and yet others merely as a joke. Every year people come up with new theories on this thorny problem. The trouble is that if we are to find just one reason to account for them all, it would have to explain the death, all at the same time, of animals living on land and of animals living in the sea; but, in both cases, of only some of those animals, for many of the land dwellers and many of the sea-dwellers went on living quite happily into the following period. Alas, no such one explanation exists’ (Alan Charig, p. 150).

But, one such explanation does exist. If you remove the evolutionary framework, get rid of the millions of years, and then take the Bible seriously, you will find an explanation that fits the facts and makes perfect sense:

At the time of the Flood, many of the sea creatures died, but some survived. In addition, all of the land creatures outside the Ark died, but the representatives of all the kinds that survived on the Ark lived in the new world after the Flood. Those land animals (including dinosaurs) found the new world to be much different than the one before the Flood. Due to (1) competition for food that was no longer in abundance, (2) other catastrophes, (3) man killing for food (and perhaps for fun), and (4) the destruction of habitats, etc., many species of animals eventually died out. The group of animals we now call dinosaurs just happened to die out too. In fact, quite a number of animals be come extinct each year. Extinction seems to be the rule in Earth history (not the formation of new types of animals as you would expect from evolution).

Will We Ever See a Live Dinosaur?
The answer is probably not … but, then again? There are some scientists who believe a few dinosaurs may have survived in remote jungles. We are still discovering new species of animals and plants today in areas that have been too difficult to explore until now. Even natives in some countries describe beasts that fit with what might be a dinosaur.

Creationists, of course, would not be surprised if someone found a living dinosaur. However, evolutionists would then have to explain why they made dogmatic statements that man and dinosaur never lived at the same time. I suspect they would say something to the effect that this dinosaur somehow survived because it was trapped in a remote area that has not changed for millions of years. You see, no matter what is found, or how embarrassing it is to evolutionists’ ideas, they will always be able to concoct an ‘answer’ because evolution is a belief. It is not science—it is not fact!

What Lessons Can We Learn From the Dinosaur?
When we see the bones of dinosaurs, we can be reminded that death was not a part of the original creation. Death is actually an intruder, entering when the first man disobeyed God. The Bible tells us that because we are all descendants of Adam, we too have sinned: ‘Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned’ (Romans 5:12); ‘For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God’ (Romans 3:23). We need to recognize that the wickedness in the world is because of sin, because man rebelled against God.

We can also be reminded that God, who made all things, including the dinosaurs, is also a judge of His creation. He judged Adam’s rebellion by cursing the world with death. Adam was warned about what would happen if he disobeyed God’s instruction not to eat the fruit of one particular tree. ‘But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die’ (Genesis 2:17).

Dinosaurs can also remind us that God judged the rebellion in Noah’s day by destroying the wicked world with water, resulting in the death of millions of creatures. The Bible teaches us that He will again judge the world, but next time by fire: ‘But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the Earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up’ (2 Peter 3:10).

We can also be reminded that after this judgment by fire, God will make a new heaven and Earth: ‘Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new Earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness’ (2 Peter 3:13). And what will it be like in this new Earth? ‘And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away’ (Revelation 21:4).

But we are also warned that many will not be allowed into this new Earth but will suffer for eternity: ‘But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death’ (Revelation 21:8).

Humans, who are all sinful from conception (Psalm 51:5), cannot live with a Holy God, but are condemned to separation from God. But, God provided a wonderful means of deliverance from sin. The Bible teaches that God offered the perfect sacrifice needed to pay the penalty for man’s sin. God’s own Son, the one who in fact created the world (Colossians 1:16), came to Earth as a man, as a descendant of Adam, to suffer the death penalty for sin. ‘But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive’ (I Corinthians 15:20-22).

The Lord Jesus Christ died on a cross, but on the third day, rose again, conquering death, so that anyone who believes in Him and accepts Him into his or her life, is able to come back to God and live for eternity with the Creator. ‘For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life’ (John 3:16); ‘If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness’ (I John 1:9).

For those who do not accept by faith what Christ has done for them and do not recognize their sinful nature and need for redemption, the Bible warns that such people will live forever, but will be separated from God in a place of torment that the Bible calls Hell. But for those who commit their lives to the Lord—what a wonderful message! What a wonderful Savior! What a wonderful salvation in Christ the Creator!

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://bernard-ng.blogspot.com/2006/01/interesting-article-dinosaurs-and.html' title='Interesting Article... Enjoy reading

Have you been in situations, where you felt like you have wasted your seeds, because you don't see fruits coming from the seeds you've sown, after a long long time??

Well, i've felt that countless times in my life.

Maybe you felt that you've wasted time on someone.

Or maybe you felt like all your efforts into somethings are unappreciated.

You felt like there is no progression in certain areas where you have sown?

Perhaps the breakthrough you desired so much seems so distant.

All the heart-felt prayers you've made don't seem to be coming to pass.

The vehement cries in your secret closet were left unheard, unattended.

And...you asked God in disappointment and frustration..."WHY??!! Father, I thought i'll reap whatever i've sown??!!"

................ Has our LORD went back on His word??

The answer is...Definitely not.

Look at the Prophet in your bible....Jeremiah.

The LORD used the great prophet Jeremiah to encourage all of us. For He already knew, we would come across situations in life, when we felt so fruitless.

Jeremiah was a prophet in the time, when Isreal was quickly sliding into destruction and bringing judgement upon themselves. He prophecied durin under the reign of Isreal's last 5 kings. Therefore, the theme messages of Jeremiah, was of doom and gloom, destruction and judgement, a call to repentance from sin. Every where he went, he was commanded by the LORD to proclaim unpopular and unpleasant messages to His rebellious and unrepentant people.

The most "distinctive" point in Jeremiah's ministry was...
throughout his 40 yrs of prophetic ministry, NOBODY listened to him and heeded the ways of the LORD. Bing-fat zero. Not a single soul repented. Everyone disliked and hated his messages.

His ministry started in the year 627 B.C, and ended around 586B.C..when Jerusalem fell. A total of 40 years, approximately. And for 40 yrs, Jeremiah preached of destruction and judgement.

It wasn't easy at all for Jeremiah. If there was a man who wanted to give uo his destiny, i guess Jeremiah was the one.

In Jeremiah 1:5, the LORD told Jeremiah,

"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."

Would the LORD call or appoint a person to do something out of His perfect will?

Nope. Nope. Nope.

It is clear, that God called and ordained Jeremiah to proclaim the message of destruction and judgement.

*God's calling may not be pleasant all the time. And God may not have called us to do all the nice and pleasant things.

And Jeremiah himself understood his unique calling.

To walk in God's call for him, Jeremiah laid down his life. How? We shall see...

He was in constant disappointment and rejection.
His soul was full of sorrows for the unrepentant attitudes of others.
He was thrown into prison for the truth he proclaimed.
He was severely persecuted by the people around him.

The LORD said about Jeremiah's family, " Your brothers, your own family— even they have betrayed you; they have raised a loud cry against you. Do not trust them, though they speak well of you." [Jer 12:6]

His friends...
"I hear many whispering, "Terror on every side! Report him! Let's report him!" All my friends are waiting for me to slip, saying, "Perhaps he will be deceived; then we will prevail over him and take our revenge on him." [Jer 20:10]

The false prophets and kings....
"But as soon as Jeremiah finished telling all the people everything the LORD had commanded him to say, the priests, the prophets and all the people seized him and said, "You must die!" [Jer 26:8]

"Whenever Jehudi had read three or four columns of the scroll, the king cut them off with a scribe's knife and threw them into the firepot, until the entire scroll was burned in the fire."
[Jer 36:23]

Jeremiah's cry of despair....
"7 O LORD, you deceived me, and I was deceived ; you overpowered me and prevailed. I am ridiculed all day long; everyone mocks me.
8 Whenever I speak, I cry out proclaiming violence and destruction. So the word of the LORD has brought me insult and reproach all day long." [Jer 20:7-8]

Throughout his ministry Jeremiah suffered rejection from all the people around him. I believe Jeremiah must have felt terrible, and turmoil. But he was committed to his calling.

BUT...He was faithful to obey God till the end. Despite the sufferings and hardships he need to go through to fulfill his call, he chose to walk in complete obedience, EVEN if it causes him so much.

*Indeed, Jeremiah fulfilled his calling. Success really is measured by the degree of our obedience and faithfullness to God and His words. Yes, we are called to bear fruits.

And Jeremiah DID bear fruits.
Yes...He bore fruits. His fruits lasted so long, that untill now, today, we are still reading about his courage and tremendous endurance, commitment to the LORD's call upon his life.

Amazing?

It's about obedience and faithfulness. God honored Jeremiah by dedicating a whole book to him. And used him to inspire courage and strength to many generations after him. Thank God for the story of Jeremiah!!

So if you are disappointd today, because you felt that you are not seeing results or fruits in the areas you've sown your precious seeds, do not despair. God will honor your obedience and faithfulness. Strive to walk in obedience and be faithful in God's commandments. He has a way.

As long as you are walking in the centre of God's perfect will, you have succeeded. God is pleased with you. =)

"And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart." [Gal 6:9]

If God's will is for you to keep sowing in the ground you find unfruitful, just obey. God knows what He is doing. In due season or the right time, you will reap a harvest in abundance.

If God's plan is for you to withdraw, obey Him. No matter how you felt your efforts have went down the drain, put that thought aside and just obey the Lord. For nothing was ever wasted in God's plan. No sacrifice is too insignificant to God. Even in the midst of learning to obey, we've in fact gained the most. God moulded us to be better people.

*Gaining God's character while losing some of ours...great. Exchaging our pain with God's character.

It's not about how we felt...it's about what He wants.

God loves You,
Bernard Ng

Potential...

Everybody has great potential within him/her... I'm very impressed with V (one of our staffs) this afternoon...

This afternoon, Mun and I went to visit V.... He was hospitalized the previous day due to excess air in his lungs... after being discharged today... he was told to rest at home as he was very sick...

Our impression of V is that he is a very fit and healthy. In fact, he seldom take MCs... So, we were very shocked when we were told that he was hospitalized....

V was feeling much better after the excess air has been "drawn" out of him...

Let me give you a brief background of V. He is eldest in the family of 5 (2 younger sisters and 2 younger brother)... his youngest sis is only 10yrs old while his youngest bro is only 13yrs old.... Being the eldest in the family... He is also one of the breadwinners beside his mother. Started work after his O's level.. A few years ago, something unfortunate happen to his family when his dad was hospitalized due to a terminal sickness...Today, his dad is still in the hospital receiving treatment... Because of this, it has been a difficult time for V and his family financially as the medical bills are high and his siblings are still very young and cannot contribute to the family expenses....

So, what impressed me?
I am very impressed with V's positive attitude and potential.

This afternoon when we were there... V told us that he is very keen to pursue his interest for music and he hopes that he can be a music teacher one day.... Sitting at the corner of his house is an electone that was given to him recently... He played a few Chinese Pop tunes for us... Wow... I am impressed... Even though he did not have the privilege to attend proper music course... he could play quite well... In fact, with his positive attitude and potential, I think he can go very far if he is given the right training and opportunities to shine.... Felt that he could do more with this talent that God has given him... Unfortunately, for his church, if you are not certified, you do not qualified to play for service or join the worship team....

Pray that God will heal him completely and open more doors for him.... = )

Ps: V is forming a band to participate in the upcoming superband audition... Fellowship etc....

Yesterday, with all glory to God, the English version of the Christmas Musical was very successful... 20 people came forward to accept Christ into their lives... = )

All of us are very happy considering all the hardwork we put in to decorate the church and to rehearse for the Musical. = )

After the service, we stayed back to help in the "tearing down" of the props and arrange the sanctuary for the evening Candle-light service (1st time in our church)...Following that, we (Sis Angie, Janet, Elizabeth, Lily and I) headed to Calvin and Olivia's home for lunch... Had a great time of feasting and fellowshipping there... =P We all concluded that Olivia is a very good cook...she cooked Pasta with Meat balls, Apple Strudel, Choc Brownies while we prepared the salad, Pepper Chicken, Honey Chicken, etc..... All of us headed for evening service after that...

Evening service was awesome. Had a professional harpist to play for us during the service... It was my first time hearing the harp live... Indeed a very heavenly instrument. = ) Pastor Rick shared a very simple message on the Gift of Mercy... Met H unexpectedly yesterday when I was leaving the sanctuary... greeted her but did not talk to her as we are both under instructions not to communicate...

Had to rush home after evening service as my family was waiting for me to celebrate Xmas together. =) Daddy and mummy cooked and invited my aunties and granny to come over for dinner last night.... Had Yummy Chilli Crabs for dinner = ) Enjoyed the dinner and most importantly the time spent with my family... Love them very much. =) Thank God for blessing me with such a wonderful family.

Today, Sam and Naomi invited the worship team to their home for lunch... another session of feasting again... =P It has been a long time since the worship team gather just to fellowship. Thank God for Sam and Naomi for initiating the gathering for the worship team.... = )

Have a blessed week ahead!

Cheers
Bernard Ng

Joy To The World... = )

Just came back from tonight's performance. This evening performance was in chinese.. Thank God. Everything went well and most importantly the good news was shared and several people came to know the Lord... = )

Had dinner with granny after my performance... It has been a long time since I last had dinner with her alone.....I am so touched that she came to support me even though it was raining.... Btw, my granny knows the Lord... and she has very great faith... When I was much younger, I would always see my granny pray every morning for the whole family.... = )

Shared with granny about my plans to venture into China... Told her that I will be there for 1-2 years... Surprisingly, she is very supportive about it... (Initially, I thought she will be sad that I will be away for a while as I would not be able to visit her...) She said that I am still young... Should venture abroad... else it will be more challenging....

Thank God for everything.... = )

Have a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

Ps: Wrote a song this morning while doing QT... So, I posted a question to him which is quite interesting.... =P

Both Yuh Chieh and I are in very different situations... For Yuh Chieh, he is attached to his girlfriend Rachel. He is currently attending a Pastor Leadership Program in our church. = )

Had a better idea on the cost of living in China... for some places, you can rent the whole apartment (fully furnished with furniture) for a month for a mere S$60. For places neaerer to the city and major towns, the rental is about S$250-S$350 for the whole apartment...

During our conversation, I also discovered the pitfalls of doing business in China. The legal framework for one is not well implemented and the officials implementing the laws are either ineffective or have been posted to another positions hence rendering the earliers regulations invalid.

This evening, I am also very happy to learn that one of my JC friends, Wee Ling, is just posted to Shanghai for 2 years. = ) She is currently working for one of the Big Fours in the Tax and Business Advisory Department. Can meet up with her when I am in Shanghai early next year... and hopefully I can get some advice from her = )

God, I am one step closer to where You are calling me. Thank you for the opportunity and timing. Lord, I also pray for Yuh Chieh even as he arrange his ministry duties that You will guide him and show him how he can still contribute and serve You while he is in China.

Have a blessed weekend!

Love
Bernard Ng
Passion To Serve!!!

One step closer to God's calling...

I am very excited about what God has in plan for us this coming new year. = )

The theme for 2006 will be " NEW Beginnings!!!" type='text'>Dinner with Sister Angie...

This evening, I had dinner with Sis Angie.

Sis Angie is extremely busy this week as she is planning and getting ready for the East Timor Trip next week. She is leading a team of youth to East Timor for a short mission trip. = )

We went to Upper Thomson Longhouse for dinner as it was along the way from Toa Payoh to Sembawang (for Prayer Meeting).

The purpose of this evening dinner was to update her on the progress of my friendship with H. At the same time, she wants to clarify certain issues with me as H's pastors spoke to her recently.

I was quite surprised to learn that some of my words may have been mis-read by H. Hence, I had to clarify certain issues with Sis Angie... = )

Let me be honest, I have positive feelings for H as I think she is a very nice girl who loves God and her family very much. Importantly also, she has a calling for mission China(something close to my heart).

However, as we are still getting to know each other better as a friend first, it is a good idea that we are both accountable to our leaders throughout the process and gain their covering and wisdom.

In fact, I am very supportive of H's pastor idea to have a 3 month no contact with H just to pray. If it is God's will, He will arrange everything. Learning from Jacob, he waited and laboured 14yrs for Rachel. Anyway, what is 3 months compared to a lifelong commitment(should there be one)?

Furthermore, this 3 months of no contact helps me to fulfil my promise to God. = )

Just commit this friendship into God's hands...

Philippians 4:6 says, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God"

Be blessed,
Bernard Ng
Passion To Serve!!!

Reflections...

With all glory to God, Year 2005 had been a wonderful and fruitful year. = )

Looking at the goal chart which I designed at the beginning of the year, I am pleased that I have achieved many of the goals which I set for Year 2005.

Goals accomplished in Year 2005:

Spiritual Goals
1) Reading the bible regularly/daily
2) Praying daily
3) Attending Prayer Meeting and Care Group
4) Getting more involved in the worship ministry

Studies
1) Grade A for Final Year Project
2) Getting 1st Class Honors

Businesses
1) Raising Capital
2) Establishing better systems and controls
3) Employing more talents

Personal
1) Improving on my music skills
2) Getting a car
3) Spending more time with my granny and family

Character & Leadership
1) Becoming more like Christ
2) Better planning and communication

Lord, I thank you for the works You done in my life in Year 2005.
